The Bihar Public Service Commission's (BPSC) teacher recruitment examination, TRE-3, encountered turbulence as suspicions of question paper leakage surfaced. Bihar Police's Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) detained five individuals from Bihar and Jharkhand, suspected to be the masterminds behind the potential leak. Two arrests were made in Hazaribagh, while three others hailed from Gaya, Nawada, and Jehanabad districts in Bihar. The EOU's report, expected to shed light on the extent of the alleged malpractice, could prompt authorities to cancel the exam.
Initial investigations revealed that approximately 300 candidates, slated to appear in the examination, were detained by Hazaribagh Police before the commencement of the test. Reports suggest these candidates had been granted access to answer sheets in five different banquet halls, where answers were displayed on projectors prior to the exam.
